Key Experience Points

Ø As a Regional Sales Operations Manager, developed, rolled out and administered the sales incentive programs for the Region that exceeded Production quota for 2 years. In 2006 the Region exceeded Production quota by 176% ($8.7M/monthly revenue).  #1 Region percentage attainment for all sales teams in AT&T.

Ø In 2006, in response to the AT&T & SBC merger, developed and rolled out the AT&T Executive Outreach program, to foster better communications with customers - A series of breakfast meetings between AT&T and its C – Level customers to explain the merger and the benefits to them of 2 market leaders combining. At the 1st meeting, deals were closed between AT&T & BeVocal and AT&T & Intransa for services.

Ø In 2007 the program was expanded nationwide as a model for AT&T Sales organizations to use to network with customers, demonstrate new products and services, and open communications between AT&T and its customers. Joining the presentations were vendor suppliers such as Northern Telecom, Cisco Systems, ShoreTel & Frontbridge.

Ø Provided analysis and recommendations that took a Sales Branch from last in the region in sales production to #1 out of 29 Middle Market Sales Branches in 2001.

Ø improved business efficiency, measured results and raised productivity.

Ø Developed a regular comprehensive reporting program that analyzed Branch and Strata sales attainment and highlighted areas of improvement and opportunity. This included administering the CRM programs and instructing 100+ sales personnel on their use.

Ø Regularly developed and published reports that monitored the performance of 12 Call Center teams. Regularly published results, wrote documentation of procedures, and analysis of results.

  • Performed as Chief of Staff to a Director of Compensation & Analytics, administering and tracking staff performance.
  • Developed and regularly published reports on various performance metrics for Call Centers and Sales Teams throughout the Western U.S., analyzing results and recommending strategies for improvement.

Regional Sales Operations Manager – AT&T, San Jose, CA 2001 to 2007

  • Participated in developing a sales organization from scratch that would address market vulnerabilities. Performed as the administrative heart of the western sales organization. Tracked CRM and other results, analyzed performance, developed reports & measures, coached Sales Managers and their teams to improved success. In addition, participated in hiring & firing decisions, made presentations of Region results and accomplishments to upper management, and sat in for the Sales V.P. in her absence. Originated a Region web site for communications and the posting of results.
  • In charge of developing, promoting, tracking and administering incentive programs for a 100+ member organization that improved sales and increased personnel efficiency and participation. Programs were regularly recommended as “Best Practices” and adopted by other sales organizations.
  • In 2004 & 2005 was recognized by the President of AT&T Business Sales for outstanding performance and selected for membership in the AT&T Achievers Club.

Branch Sales Results Manager - AT&T, San Jose, CA 1999 to 2001

  • Developed, rolled-out and regularly published a contract tracking system to renew existing contracts and retain customers.
  • Interfaced with IT to roll-out and train the sales organization on an upgrade from desktop to laptop PCs and the new software and CRM programs.
  • In 2000 was recognized by the VP of AT&T Growth Market Sales for outstanding performance and selected for membership in the AT&T Gold Club.
